Making your Vacancy Stand Out...

Would you like to guarantee the best possible position for your role on the major UK job boards?

Including featured listings on your recruitment campaign can significantly increase response rates and help you to find the right person for the position. Featured jobs appear alongside the results of any relevant job search and carry an eye-catching company logo, perfect if you have a strong brand image to take advantage of.

When they click on these featured jobs, candidates are taken to a more detailed job description that is also strongly branded, carrying your logo and with a matching colour scheme (see below).

Featured adverts result in a higher response rate and send out an attractive and professional image to jobseekers.

Your Questions Answered...

Q: So how do featured jobs work?

When a jobseeker runs a search, they see a list of results in the centre of the page, every job posted onto that job board will be given a chance to compete for top spot based on relevancy. It could be that your job advert performs very well for one search term but no so good for another one.

On a highly competitive job board it is difficult to perform well on a wide range of searches. Featured jobs give your advert an extra chance to appearon the first page of listings, and it only competes for top spot against other featured jobs. There are significantly less featured jobs on the site, meaning your advert can even gain the top 1-3 positions on a page, even for highly competitive search terms.

Q: What areas do you recommend using featured jobs for?

You can use it for any vacancy, but we think its an important tool to use when you are advertising in highly competitive areas. For example, as of today (30-06-09) there are 1,078 adverts for sales vacancies in London on Jobsite, but only 12 featured adverts. The featured adverts also carry company logos so if you have a strong employer brand your advert will gain even more attention.

Q: How long do the featured job adverts run for?

Featured job adverts run for the full 4 weeks of your online recruitment campaign.

Q: Which job boards do you run featured job adverts on?

Currently, we run featured adverts on TotalJobs & Jobsite. These are two of our best performing job board partners.

Q: Do you still advertise on other job boards?

Your position will still be advertised on all our usual job boards
